Very rare, and hard to find original Black 69 Fender Stratocaster. The finish is completely original. No broken solder joints or routing under the guard. Frets and hardware are all original. The guitar has been played with signs of wear on the bottom and shoulders. Original hardcase is included.
Neck date is black ink stamped "22 AUG 69B". Pickup routes are curved and not squared like in 1970s. Pickguard is original mother of pearl with the correct foil. No cracks on the guard near the truss rod adjustment notch. Additional high quality detailed pictures are available upon request. Pickup and pot wiring is typical of a mid 1969 Stratocaster. Green cloth wires mixed with blue, white and black plastic wires. This is a very common trait of these transition guitars. Many changes occured between 1969 and 1970. I have collected these strats exclusively and have documentation of other 1969 Strats from my collection.
